Protozoan identification

National Reference Centre for Animal Leishmaniasis performs the serological (IFAT, Elisa) and molecular diagnostic (including Real Time PCR) tests applied to Leishmaniasis such as the isolation, characterisation of strains and production of reference materials. Standard Sera (positive and negative) are available such as DNA standards and Leishmania strains.

Details of available exams are reported in the tables below.

The Standard Operative Procedures (POS/PdP) are certified according to UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
